Smiths IONSCAN 500DT Operator Training
The Smiths IONSCAN 500DT Operator Training Course teaches the student proper and effective use of the IONSCAN 500DT Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) system. This system is used to identify traces of explosives and narcotics at security checkpoints. This interactive, self-paced course teaches the student how the IONSCAN 500DT system works to identify traces of explosives and narcotics. Each student will learn the core parts of the IONSCAN 500DT system. In addition, each student will learn the correct technique for taking samples, how to analyze samples, and how to clear contamination from the system and screening area.
