The Astrophysics XIS Operator Training Class is a course based on an advanced X-ray system designed for areas where X-ray security screening is crucial. Students learn how to properly operate the system and use imaging functions to interpret X-ray images. After going through this training, students will be able to effectively use the XIS system to correctly identify threats and prohibited items in order to maintain a secure, controlled area.
