Security Checkpoint Training Course

The Security Checkpoint Training Course will explain the importance of security screening and detail the process for screening individuals and their belongings at a typical security checkpoint. This course will teach students how to properly use common security detection equipment such as hand-held metal detectors (HHMD) and walk-through metal detectors (WTMD). Students will gain an understanding of how to perform a body search of individuals and a hand search of their belongings to ensure no prohibited articles, contraband, or threats pass through to the secure area.
